Refund policy
At PlateHQ, number plates are custom-made to the specific vehicle registration and documentation provided by each customer. Because of this, our returns policy works as follows:
Damaged or faulty items: If your plates arrive damaged, defective, or do not match the registration/documentation you submitted, you're entitled to a free replacement or full refund. Please contact us within 14 days of delivery with photographic evidence of the issue, along with your order number.
Change of mind: As plates are custom-made per registration, we're unable to offer returns, exchanges, or refunds where a customer simply changes their mind, orders the wrong registration in error, or no longer requires the item. This is in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (Regulation 28), which exempts personalised/bespoke goods from standard "change of mind" cancellation rights.
How to request a return or refund: Contact us via our Contact page with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos where applicable. We aim to respond within 2 working days.
