Terms of service

1. About us PlateHQ is a registered DVLA Number Plate Supplier (RNPS). All plates supplied comply with British Standard BS AU 145e and current DVLA regulations.

2. Placing an order By placing an order, you confirm that all registration and documentation details you provide are accurate and that you are legally entitled to display the requested registration. Orders are only processed and dispatched once valid entitlement documentation and identification have been received and verified.

3. Pricing and payment All prices are listed in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time before an order is dispatched. Payment must be received in full before an order is processed.

4. Documentation requirements Every order requires proof of identity (e.g. passport, driving licence) and proof of entitlement to the registration (e.g. V5C, V750, V778, or other DVLA-accepted document). We are legally required to record these details and retain them for at least 3 years.

5. Liability PlateHQ is not responsible for the fitting of plates once purchased, nor for any damage, loss, or legal consequences arising after plates leave our possession. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure plates are fitted correctly and remain compliant with DVLA standards.

6. Fraud and misuse We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or delay any order where documentation appears fraudulent, altered, or where entitlement cannot be verified. Suspected fraudulent activity may be reported to the DVLA, police, or other relevant authorities.

7. Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

8. Changes to these terms We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of this site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
